Awright, Ryan, let's talk about something that really has worldwide ramiifications: Yanks/Sox! I'm predicting Pavano goes 8-10 with a 4.88 ERA.

my my.... talk about getting up on the wrong side of the bed!!!

read gbhost's original post again. s/he's saying that there is a family of posters here who, even when bemoaning a lack of new blood, often act to scare off or ostracize new blood that doesn't conform to certain family rules. if you disagree with her/him, maybe you should look in the mirror.

What got into these guys??

Dolphin--

An easy way to get started would be to go to your local library and read one of the travel books - f'r instance Fodors, or Frommers which will give you a general idea.

Then come back with more specific questions.

Then we can get you some answers.

Perhaps the attitude will have improved

no offense intended, ed, but if you asked someone for advice, and were told to first research then come back with appropriate questions, would you go back to that person?

people come here for advice; they presumably know they can go to a library.

Nu-uh

Just meant that we needed a starting point.

Maybe should have suggested Italy on the Europe thread, or perhaps the site for the Italian Tourist board.

This thread has sorta got out of hand :-B

What a bunch of silliness. Of course it was proper for someone to suggest the poster do his homework first.
Uuhhh, no one suggested the person do research, just ask complete questions.
Is anyone reading each other's responses here? None of these posts seem to relate to each other.

In the spirit of uuhhhh's post....

Florence and Venice.

Next question?
