Any Florida people here tonight? What's the weather like in Ft Lauderdale/West Palm? Is it colder than normal there too? (I just left there a few days ago & am wishing I cld go back!) ;)

Here in Dallas, TX, it's in the 30s!!! We've got tickets to see Red Sox-Rangers tonight. I guess I'll have to bundle up!

I'm in northeast WI. Returned from Lisbon on Tuesday and since then, it's been in the low-mid 20s every danged morning. About an inch of snow at one point. And 20-30 mph winds. Cripes! We left (on a 17 day journey that included a W. bound transAtlantic cruise) in March and returned to January!! I'm wearing the same bleepin' down coat and layers of fleece that I've been clad in for the past five months and I'm sick of it!!!

The hummingbird migration maps show bird sightings as far north in Ohio as the Cleveland area. Since I'm in central Ohio I put our feeders out last weekend when it was nice and now they have snow on them. (I've been bringing them in overnight, but it really isn't helping a lot.)

Point being - snow on a hummingbird feeder is WRONG!!!

It's darn cold in Detroit. I just went to buy my mother-in-law an Easter plant and I felt like I should be buying a poinsettia!!

I am sorry to hear that the truth of Global warming is inconvenient for you - blah blah blah send more money to fight warming blah blah blah

It was ridiculously cold in Nashville yesterday taking kids to their frigid Easter Egg hunt at the zoo. Flurries on the way there, no animals out, misery all around. But hey, maybe this late freeze will kill or put a serious damper on the mosquito population this summer!

We went to an Easter Brunch, and instead of an Easter egg hunt, the Easter bunny was walking around to the tables passing out the candy-filled eggs. We don't like cold weather here.

If anyone would like some rain, I'll gladly send it to you. We've had so much lately; it's getting ridiculous to try to squeeze in any outdoor activities between the cold and the rain. Hoping this week will be better...

We visited a childrens farm here near Chicago on Saturday for its Easter event and my daughter had to wear snow pants to ward off the cold--the poor lambs were huddled together for warmth!!!! I want some warmth please!!! What happened to the 70s from a week ago?

I'm sorry to hear all the cold weather reports - we've been in the high 80's lately. It's beautiful and nice - but when it reaches those temps this early it's kind of scary about what to expect for the summer. They're prediciting 90's by the end of the week. I just don't want to see triple digits until at least Memorial Day!

It is chilly here..grey and cloudy. It got down to 47 last night (which is really cold for April) and warmed up to a balmy 63 yesterday.
