Since you mentioned that you had a situation where you'd like to give a gift to someone who may not want one, I wanted to make a suggestion. Comestible products are always a good compromise, since they can be enjoyed but not permanently take up space (like the proverbial candy dish!). Something like a year-long wine of the month subscription; I know couples who have really enjoyed that sort of thing! (Food-wise, Williams-Sonoma has some beautiful options, too.)

I may not be coming up. I've been on the phone this morning trying to check out details. I'll know for sure tomorrow. So, if y'all plan something, don't plan around my time suggestions. I hate it - on so many levels. But, it appears that this trip was just not to be.
