It's like any other time you go out in "public" . . . you have to put up with other people (how can anyone think/behave that way??) and they have to put up with you (just as hard; you're not as witty as you think you are).

Wintertraveler, please try again . . . there's a lot of interest in Key West B&Bs on this board and honest opinions are welcome (IMHO). Did you try posting directly to Fodor's Hotel User Ratings? (I've never tried that. Don't know if it requires the same username but I don't see your handle on any of the KW B&Bs.)

I have no problem with registration. Initially I thought the traffic had slowed down so much that this site had become a "ghost town" but it did pick up quite a bit. Now it's died down again and I suspect it's because the site is soooooo sllloooowwww. I lose interest in trying to log on and posting a reply takes forever.

What's up with that?

I don't know.

There seems to be less variety in the types of questions being asked, and fewer people responding to posts. Although the European and US forums still get a fair amount of traffic, some of the others have almost come to a complete halt. For example, yesterday there were only 3 posts on the Australia forum.

Like most people, I have had a lot of trouble accessing the site; it either opens very slowly or not at all. I must say, though, I don't miss the nasty, profanity-ridden posts.
