Helmsley Park Lane or Michelangelo
 

Hi - I plan to visit in October but I would like to arrange my accomodation now. This is a surprise trip to New York for my husband and we both newcomers to Manhattan.<BR><BR>I have seen lots of good feedback on the The Michelangelo but I am also looking at the Helmsley Park Lane as an alternative. Does anyone have any information or feedback that could help me decide which is the better of the two options?<BR><BR>Thanks....Kay

I've got flights on hold. Is anyone going to respond or is there nothing to choose between them?

Do a search on both hotels, each has been discussed extensively. My recollection indicates everyone raves about the Michaelangelo. The Park Lane is great if you get a park view on a high floor. If you are getting the same or similar rate, the Michaelangelo is probably the better choice.

Thanks Frank. The deal for Helmsley is $50 a night more which is fine if there is a good reason to head there. Sounds like Michelangelo has a lot going for it though.<BR>Kay
