Stay at the Grand Wailea and have their catering do a nice beach set up for a wedding dinner.
They do this on a daily basis. Lovely place to have a wedding. Mama's Fish House is a great place and we only go for lunch. It is pricey but quite good but Paia fish market for an ahi sandwich or poke is delightful too and save you $$. Surfing Goat in upcountry in Kula is cool. Maybe take the ferry to Lanai for a nice lunch at the Lodge or Four Seasons. Merrimans for happy hour in Napili is one of my faves..view is stellar and HH food and drink prices can't be beat. |
We also ate at Mama Fish House for lunch when we were there. Yes, it is quite expensive; but the setting of that restaurant just took your breath away.
Maybe not for a wedding dinner, but go by there while you stay in Maui is definitely worth a trip. And yes, we also love to walk around the town of Paia. |
ink: >>And you question that that is not what the restaurant means<<
OK, I get it. You have a hair up your a$$. But let's set the record straight, since you conveniently skipped over the key part of my post: I know someone who booked a party of 15 there for a rehearsal dinner. That was the basis on which I questioned the limit of 8. But don't let the facts stop you from banging your spoon on your highchair. |

That's what I've experienced and it was GREAT. The restaurants at Grand Wailea are amazing. Been several times. |
