Hawaii experts

I want to know the "best hotel" and the "best luau" and the "best restaurant" on the "best island". Oh, and please tell me where the "best beach" is and the "best snorkeling" would be?

Kind of good, sort of good, pretty good, won't cut it. I want the "perfect" Hawaii vacation so I must have "the best".

All costs must be "reasonable".

travel_addict Aug 9th, 2006 03:58 PM

Sure hope you don't smoke. ;)

Suzie Aug 9th, 2006 03:59 PM

Initially I was thinking wow no research on anything just wants to be told what's what. Then I see it's YOU!!!! You prankster! Guess this is your way of dealing with the tiresome questions?

P_M Aug 9th, 2006 04:09 PM

OK, you got me, starrsy. LOL!!

If this were for real, I'd say at least you have it narrowed down to one state. Some people post questions like this in the Europe forum and they don't have any ideas yet for which country to visit. The questions is something like, "I'm going to Europe on a budget, where should I go?" :-))

My favorite Hawaii one recently was the poster who didn't care what island they went to as long as the hotel had a breakfast buffet. We all have our priorities I guess.

Kal Aug 9th, 2006 04:16 PM

I can't comment because I'm still a pert.
Once I retire from perting then I can comment.

starrsville Aug 9th, 2006 04:20 PM

I hate to do it, but...

Kal what is a pert?

razzledazzle Aug 9th, 2006 04:23 PM

It's what you are before you are an
EX-pert.

gee starrs, dat's an e-z Q to answer

the perfect hawaiian vacation can be had on just one island...niihau

niihau has the "best" hotel - the all-natural robinson family treehouse

speaking of natural, the "best" luau is wally's nude luau at the "best" beach - puuwai beach with its most excellent shelling; and nearby lehua rock off niihau's coast is hawaii's "best" snorkel spot

but "best" of all, niihau has hawaii's "best" restaurant...mo bettah than mama's...it's auntiemaria's fish house serving up the ono sistahlou pupus, including the famous kal-ifornikation rolls

niihau even has the "best" cheap grindz like iamq's bbq, where you always have to save room for the "best" treat in all of hawaii...the razzledazzle shave-iceeu2...mo bettah than matsumoto's!!!

aaaahhhh, just daydreamin bout 5-weeks in niihau...my hawaiian heaven

sistahlou Aug 9th, 2006 05:16 PM

Hahahahahah!!!!!!!!!!!!!!I'm a little veclempt.....talk amongst yourselves!!!!!!!!!

1. The best hotel is definately the Maui Motel 6, you'll see tons of recommendations on here if you do a quick search.
2. I think you may have spelled a word wrong, I'm not familiar with the term "luau"
3. Skip the restaurants, and get the orange chicken at the Costco near the airport, better than anything you'll get at the so-called "restaurants".
4. The perfect beach is that one right near that place where we went to that one time. You know the one I mean, its right by the water.
5. By far the best snorkeling is at the hotel pool, that way there are no fish getting in the way.

I think you'll find all the above prices very reasonable.
Have a wonderful trip, Aloha
