Wu-huuuuuuuu! Our own little saimin stand here on Kaua`i, has been named as a 2006 "American Classic" by the James Beard Foundation!

Had lunch there today -- seated across from two tourist ladies who had headed there straight from the airport after having read about the James Beard Award in the Honolulu newspaper. :-!

Part of the charm of Hamura's is the setting. You must eat in and watch the goings on. It's a crack up. Don't forget to order the fried won-ton. They are not on the menu, but they are SO good! Have a great trip.
