Those photos have to be some of the best I've ever seen. He is certainly a professional! :)

But don't try this yourself! He must have taken some very dangerous chances to get some of those shots. Lava is very unforgiving. If you are caught in it, you will die -- burned up in minute -- so stay a safe distance away, as the rangers indicate.
