I like Rusty's at the pier (very casual), Alma's for Italian, and Lobster Shanty - all in Cocoa.

Also Florida Seafood (edge of Cocoa Beach heading towards Merritt Island), Frankies Wings & Things (at the port), and Coconuts on the Beach. Don't for get to stop at RonJons Surf Shop!

We tried "Dixie Crossroads" after reading about it in either the Frommers or Fodor's Florida guidebooks. They specialize in "rock shrimp"-at least that's what I think it is called. It was fantastic. My whole family loved it. The atmosphere is very casual-kind of a of a "country" theme. It was full of locals which is always a good sign. I think they may even have a web site. When in Cocoa Beach, you will probably see their advertisments on the television. Enjoy
