Freaky Friday Rants and Raves May 6th
 

Rant: Spending too much time with the lawn mower.

Rave: Got the garage cleaned out.

Rave--Survived chaperoning 200 8th graders on a 3 day trip.

Rant--Looks like rain AGAIN this weekend.

Rave: I got a RAISE this week!!!

Rant: It was too long in the making.

Rave: My son can finnaly drive now.

Rant: All this Rain.

Rave: Our trip to Colorado is definately on now.

Rave: The "dark cloud" seems to be lifting and life seems much brighter.

Rave: The great people on this forum.

Rant: The occasional bully on this forum.

Rave: The editors doing what they can to keep this a civil place to be.

Rave: Began working at home and it is going very well.

Rave: Dad is taking a 3 week driving trip out West and wants me to fly out to meet him somewhere along the way.

RAVE: My ovarian cancer advocacy group converted THREE more congressmen to support Johanna's Law...just by emailing them and asking them to sign on! We're hoping for 100% from our state and only have 2 more to go. Yea!

RAVE: Relay for Life is tonight.

RAVE: Mother's Day.

No rants today...it's always so hard to rant on a Friday!

Opps, forgot one thing. We got a cat yesterday. He has a crooked black mustach. Haven't named him yet.

rant: We were going to Vegas this weekend until my husband's boss said he couldn't have the time off right now. We won't see those great airfare prices again for at least a year!!

rave: Hubby says we will definitely go somewhere June or July.

Rave: starrsville - so happy to hear that the clouds are breaking for you - may the weather conditions in your head continue to improve!

Rant: Mom is STILL in ICU, after 10 days, as aspiration pneumonia has been stubborn to leave.

Rant: Have had a difficult time concentrating all week because of Mom's delicate health situation.

Rant: 88 year old father fell tripped over parking space curb on his way out from visiting Mom.

Rave: Despite some cuts and bruises, no serious injuries.

Rave: Will be going down to Fla. tomorrow to see Mom and Dad!

Rave: Her superb caregiver, who truly takes an active and personal interest in Mom's well-being.

HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY, EVERYONE!

Rant: Indiana lost last night. I want to see Reggie Miller make one more playoff run, but he won't be able to play much more if his team keeps playing the way they have.

P.S. to bamakelly - way to go!!!

Rave: Plumming is done in the Lower Level and dry wall will start.

Rave: Sunshine today and 75 degrees on Sunday! Yea!

Rave: Starrsville's dark cloud is lifting. Eeva surviving the 8th graders.

Rant: people who won't let you out of an elevator before trying to get into the car. It's a small, cramped space. Let me out, I won't let the elevator leave without you.

My thoughts are with are with those suffering. I hope to hear positive news soon.

ncgrrl, oh how I can relate to that rant. It even happens in small buildings where everyone waiting to get on the elevator Will get on. There is plenty of room.

bamakelly--I'm involved in our local Relay For Life, too. Wonderful event. Have a great time.

Rave: finally we're having nice spring weather.

Rant: we're having nice weather, but we're working endless hours.

Rave: Happy Mother's Day to all you wonderful mothers in Fodorville!!!

Rave: Had a great weekend trip to Birmingham to see my niece/goddaughter make her First Communion.

Rave: The wonderful teachers in our school district - including Eeva above -another of my many nieces was one of those aforementioned 8th graders! My own daughter's 6th grade teacher is truly one of the most positive and upbeat (without being sticky sweet) people I have ever met and she is so funny she should be on tv.

Rave - Visiting my mil on Mother's Day. Nobody has ever had a more kind mother in law and I love that my daughters have inherited her spirit and nature.

Prayers for all those in need or hurting.

Humming birds are back in the Valley.

The white dogwoods in all their splendor.

The mountains, east and west of us are green again.

Rant: Another rainy weekend here around Boston - this is becoming annoying /:)
Rave: One more week to Disney/Universal trip! \:D/
Rant: Son's friend that was coming with us can't come now...silly boy cheated in school :^o
Rave: My son wasn't involved ~:>
Rant: Now I have to figure out how what to do with his tickets #o

Rant: My e-mail server has been down since 2pm yesterday. They're trying to fix it but it's taking FOREVER!

Rant: Baby cat who was sick last week to the tune of $675 has now started peeing everyplace in my house except the litter box! We are trying to be patient and do the right things to correct the behavior, but our tolerance is wearing thin quick!

Rave: It's Friday!

Rave: Celebrating Mother's Day 2x on Sunday. Thankful that I am only the mother of two cats this week!
