GoTravel, a friend and I were just discussing that -losing ones clothing in ones house.
Weird, isn't it? the way a piece of clothing just goes missing:)
I hope you find your unattractive regulation shorts and do not have to shop for new unattracive shorts.
((F)) :)

GoTravel, another option: GoPlay without them ;)

OliveOyl, wish I can find words to help you! Some day you'll look back with a smile. My son had a surgery, and I took pictures of him with his face all in bloody bandages. Now he loves to look at them.

Bonsoir, cigalechanta dear~

Rant and Rave: (depends on how I look at it!) First born turns 21 today!
Rant: This is the 1st birthday we have not been together. He is celebrating with his girlfriend in NYC. I know this is a RAVE for him!

OliveOyl Jun 11th, 2004 04:14 PM

Thanks for the good wishes, guys. This too shall pass! You all who used it on your lips...I avoided that area but know it gets burned, especially my lower lip. I thought you weren't supposed to put it there! How awful that must have been--bad enough the area above my lips--which precludes smiling, and gawd forbid I actually laugh. Pita

In re-reading my post above, I couldn't believe how I spelled "wreckless endangerment"! Lawsy...it is sort of funny though considering the circumstances. Please change that to "reckless" though. lol I do know better!

Scarlett Jun 11th, 2004 04:21 PM

Well OO, it would be WRECKless if they had crashed their cars in your driveway!

jor Jun 11th, 2004 04:45 PM

GoTravel, Maybe the dog ate your cloths.
Last month I layed out cloths to put on after my shower. Then I was watching TV as I slipped my shirt on and tried to button it. I looked down and saw that the whole front left side had been eaten off by my dog and it was nowhere to be found. He ate AND swallowed it!!!

mclaurie Jun 11th, 2004 04:52 PM

Rave: Happy birthday GoTravel. I'm a Gemini too O:)
Rant: Olive Oyl's face is hurtin X( Hope it's better soon.
Rant: My roses are being eaten by caterpillars emd. I bought organic stuff and it doesn't work :-@

Ani Jun 11th, 2004 05:20 PM

Jor-sorry about your shirt! But my dog (genius that she is) eats cat poop-so I simply cannot be surprised by what your dog has done!

emd Jun 11th, 2004 06:11 PM

jor: and I thought only my little dwarf rabbit did that!! I put on a shirt last week that I had had on when holding him the night before, and it had a big hole in it!! he is so little, how did he manage to make a hole the size of Montana on the bottom of my shirt while I had it on, and I didn't realize it. I bet your dog is bigger than my rabbit too.

OliveOyl: you weckless woman you!! (I say this w/Mel Blanc's Bug's inflection)

And mclaurie: If I had known we were made of the same forlorn gardener's cloth, I would have offered to come over while I was in NY recently and help you pick off the caterpillars. Unfortunately, the nice stuff doesn't always work.I'll try the tobacco juice and let you know how it goes. Also, I am trying neem oil. I think I might have actually smoked neem oil when I was younger, I'm not sure, but anyway it is supposed to be good for nuisance insects.

I am chuckling about GoTravel goplaying golf without the gotravel lost unattractive golf shorts. Not that we aren't sympathetic GoTravel, we know this is a bummer for you. I hope you find them.

Rave: dinner menu: rack of lamb, rissoto, fresh broiled tomatoes w/herbs
and shaved romano, w/2000 Terrilogio Primitivo for the two adults (R5 would appreciate that) and fresh blackberries for dessert. Cooking for people you love is a big rave.

cigalechanta Jun 11th, 2004 07:05 PM

emd, a quote by my favorite food writer, MFK Fisher: "Sharing food is an intimate act that should not be indulged lightly"

Fresh food and loved friends are a year-long rave.

Scarlett Jun 11th, 2004 07:08 PM

jor, sooner or later, the dog will end up giving you back the buttons and shirt.
my Pup always waited until the middle of the night to "return" the sock he stole and swallowed whole.
