cigalechanta, I'll bet the food in France was worth every pound you gained, right? And now it will come off, with your getting back to normal. (My stall is coming from getting injured, cutting back on exercise and not keeping quite a close enough eye on the calories....... but I'll do it! :-) )

Atila, so sorry.... It must be very hard for you.

Atilla-condolences...grieve as Scarlett says, it only heals. Life is difficult some times.

Here is Central Jersey the rain is beginning. While dark and foreboding, the smell when it first begins to rain is lovely.

Kal, I have a friend who must be your separated twin. Even his wife speaks like Mrs Kal. Yikes...two of you. LOL

Thank you Scarlett and all. After reading your replies, I had a little breakdown and feel a little lighter now. I know my unfortunate situation is nothing compared to some of our other Fodors friends at this time. It is comforting to read your sympathetic words nonetheless.

Atilla, this has got to be a hard situation to be going thru. My sympathies are with you.

My sympathies and thoughts are also with LilMsFoodie. I hope she checks in soon.

Atilla, I'm so sorry that is awful! Please take some time to yourself and talk to a professional!

Cigalechanta - the tub?? Wow. And I've been complaining about the guest room. X(
Atilla - that's a difficult one. Hugs and condolences to you.
Scarlett - sure hope the whispers and rumors are true! There's nothing quite as wonderful as being with our kids - especially now when they're all grown up and we don't have to tell them to do their homework!

Atilla, I'm so very sorry for you. My best friend was murdered in NYC about 15 years ago and it tore my heart out. Still makes my stomach go heavy. Keep friends and family close and let them know you may need shoulders to cry on. You have mine.

Martha
