Pets: GoT...not even a real jackass/donkey would leave her young in a hot place without at least trying to get it to some shade and water.

I don't want to understand the reasoning behind why someone would leave a child or an animal in a car in this kind of weather.

My mind cannot grasp that kind of reasoning.

jorr, I'm so sorry to hear your news. My mom was diagnosed w/diabetes a few months ago and it is an adjustment, but one you can handle.

JAGIRL, how awful, I am just sick!! Please keep us posted and let us know how it all turns out. I hope they catch those monsters before they can hurt anyone else. Disgusting pigs.

Oh so much to learn. I bought my blood monitor today after meeting with a diabetes nurse and setting up monitoring and meetings. After buying the monitor it took five fingers to get the darn thing to work right and show the correct date and time while talking to someone on the toll free number. "Do it again, do it again"! whoo hoo I have blood on all my fingers guy. I think he was contracted with a prison or something. LOL

Oh, poor jorr! Sticking your finger really hurts. Unless you've gotten a really lousy phlebotomist (spelling?), it's much more painful than having blood drawn. I hope after the fifth finger, it was finally working?

Are those machines they advertise on tv, the ones where you don't use your fingers, a lot more expensive?

The nurse told me those TV ads are deciptive and didn't recommend them.

Actually the finger thing doesn't hurt. Not getting a reading and using multiple expensive strips hurts. Yesterday was a hard day.
