Faina dear, if you are under the impression your doctor doesn't care about your life you need to get another doctor. And I am serious!

L'Italy.......

Hi there dear Kal!
Seriously, I don't put up with doctors or anyone that does not live up the standards that one has the right to expect. They can be replaced. So there!! :-x |
LOL Kal
LoveItaly, just trying to be nice to somebody who's upset over my post |
No Faina, I was and am giving you my thoughts..if you truly do not think that your doctor does not have your best interest at heart, that you do not get proper medical care etc., you do need to change doctors. When I first moved to where I now lived I had to change doctors after having a fantastic doctor for thirty years. The first doctor I had when I moved here was fantastic. I went to Italy and returned home to find out he had left the medical group. I had been assigned to a new doctor. One with very good medical credientals. But after three visits I told him what he could do with his pratice, LOL, and walked out.
I since then have had excellant medical care with a doctor that is highly regarded due to her medical skills but also has the skills to communicate with her patients and she also respects her patients. And you should have the same type of doctor and nothing less. |
LoveItaly, the doctors in USA are not trained to heal. They are trained to cover the symptoms, not to get to the roots of a problem.
This means, doesn't matter how hard I'd try, I won't find a doctor who'd heal. Unless I go to an herbalist who is not covered by health insurance. Are you in pain? Here is a pill. Side effect - high blood pressure. High blood pressure? Here is a pill. Side effect - dissiness. Dissiness? Here is a pill. Side effect - headache. Headache? Here is a pain pill. The circle conitunues. And I'm not making it up, just telling about my father's prescriptions. |

Hey jorr and mms, I saw a segment on our news tonight about that christian group sending those packages to our fellows in Iraq with all kinds of instructions as to how to stay pure.
Guess there are enough female troops in Iraq that this group feels they have to advise the males to not even LOOK at them or they will have impure thoughts. |
Rant: For those voting for Dems next round, given their rather insane attempts to propose some sort of agenda, welcome to the US of Bolivia.

Rants: SUV's
Raves: Our Prius. :-) |
mikemo, please dear one, lets not make this FFR&R into a political battle as that will cause this thread to get deleted. And that is always such a shame as so many people have so many messages to each on this Friday thread. Thanks!!
|
Hi LoveItaly. I was in a thread about Texas last week, where I was attacked for not giving enough info about why I liked Austin over the other major TX cities. I fought back, but I wasn't even mean about it. More defensive and gave my reasons. Within minutes it was deleted.

LI,
Ni Hou! Just an observation from here as all of Latin American is headed leftward since the governments and business leaders totally flubbed the opportunities NAFTA offered in the early/mid 90's. I should have studied Mandarin v. Spanish. M (SMdA, Gto.) |
t,
The Texas thread was way biased. After 25 years in Dallas, Ft. Worth might be my choice should I ever return to the US (most unlikely). M (SMdA, Gto.) |
