rant: I'm sick waaaahhhh

rave: It's Friday and hubby is coming home after being gone all week! :D

Rant - I have a cold.

Rave - it'll be 70 degrees here in DC today! I love spring!

Rant - I worked way too many hours this week.

Rave - I'm taking the convertible out for a weekend road trip!

Happy birthday to all those celebrating around this time. Mine was last week too.

Patrick. This might ruin your friday. The Apprentice will be on for two more weeks followed the third week with a two hour live finalle. Thats about 21 days of promos, day and night on just about every channel. I suggest a three week vacation for you!

Personally I like the show but I believe Trump is a media whore who can't get enough of himself. Troy will win. The only one without a college degree and by far the smartest.

rant: i second that about gas prices. i drive a grand jeep cherokee!

Rant: My husband was traveling on his birthday Wednesday. :(

Rave!!!: I delivered my mare's bay colt yesterday morning at 8 a.m.!!!
I held his head in my hands as he took his first breath and opened his eyes :)

AND... It's 76 here in Raleigh today, and I get to leave early to let baby and mama outside for baby's first look at the world.

More raves: In NE Wisconsin, the world is noisy again (after waking snow-covered silence). Can hear cranes in the woods; gulls screeing overhead and lots of other birdie chatter.

Rave: my older son is in a band, and yesterday they were finally in the city (San Francisco) and I got to see them live.

Rave: My sister accepted Columbia's offer for grad school which means I will have a place to stay when visiting New York for the next six years.

Rant: She will be living off a tiny stipend so her apartment will most likely be in a colorful area.

Rave: Booked my cruise with my in-laws for Alaska. We got a deluxe suite with a balcony--very excited! First cruise for me!

Rant: The cost is more then my rent for a month!!!

Rave: It's 65 degrees in NYC right now!! Woohoo!! Going to BBQ with some friends on the Upper West Side this evening!!

Rant: Have to work on Sunday :(

Rant: I work at a creative, relaxed company, on products I really like, but the team I work with is jaded, immature, and not passionate about the products. It makes me want to SCREAM! Don't they realize how lucky they are?

Rave: My husband is taking me somewhere tomorrow, it's a surprise, but I have to bring an outfit to wear for dinner and some "relaxing" clothes. I think it's dinner/hotel/spa time! I love him!

Your rant is that this costs more than your rent for a month? Wow! (yes I know that your cruise will only be about 5 or 7 days) if you are comparing a deluxe room on a cruise ship for you and your spouse, to an apartment for two? you must live in an expensive apartment!

No no no, the confusing thing about kikahead's post is the fact that she says "Booked my cruise with my in-laws for Alaska." and calls that a rave. Usually the in-laws are a rant!

Rant: I commute on the I 95 corridor that MELTED last night (and will be closed for 2 weeks)in a fuel truck accident!

Rave: It's Friday and I'm meeting cousins in NYC for my belated 50th birthday dinner!
