Does he have one that operates without a land line telephone or plug in to one present!! Let me know what and where he got it, if it operates just off of a battery powered cell and network. Seriously!

The only one we could find that operates off of only a cell was about $6000 and that was before the network costs. It was a military prototype.

Well it works, jorr. But the furnace did break all the way now- so now we are on to the next step of getting a new one or at least a new part- today.

And it was only 4 years old and not a cheap unit. Such is the world of industry now in 2005- everything is made to throw away within a handspan of time.
