Rant & Rave: The rain has postponed our camping until tomorrow.

Rave: Travel related, almost done with the holiday shopping. Everyone is getting new luggage this year from GoTravel & Mr. GoTravel.

Rant: First snow forecast for tomorrow, but hoping near the coast we get rain. Soo not ready for the snow.

Rave: My little man turned three yesterday...

Rant: Little man had a melt down from too much cake, ice-cream, presents, attention. Woke up 5 times last night wanting all his new toys in bed with him.

Rave: I'm soo lucky to be his mama, even in melt down mode.

Rave - Beautiful Southern California weather. Feels like Fall.

Rave - My youngest daughter has the lead in "The Foreigner" at her high school.

Rave - My parents from Arizona are coming today to see the show. My sister and oldest daughter are also coming from LA & Orange County to see the show.

Rant - The whole family will be staying in my very small house all weekend!

Rant - My mother just found out she has to have knee replacement surgery after Christmas.

Rave - Other than my Mom's knee everyone is healthy.

Go Travel-New house just north of where I live. If I survive the building process. ;-)

BTW-I was a sailor in another life. Did the Port Huron to Mackinaw race one year. Now, we are stink boaters.

Wagonwheel, enjoy your little one, they grow up so fast! BTW, they still have meltdowns as teens. DD had one a couple of days ago when I refused to let her get in the car with a boy I didn't know.

This was only her second one in her three years of being a teen, so I consider myself lucky. ***kim*** :)

Rave/Rant - Scott's verdict at 4 p.m. today. Will he get the needle?

Rave: It's Friday.

Rant: My net access at work was down all day so I'm just now getting to check in from home.

Rave: Honoring our brave Veterans yesterday.

Rant: My clutch keeps sticking to the floorboard in my jeep. It's now in the shop for the weekend.

Rave: Thank goodness I can walk everywhere here.

Rant: Due to last minute real estate circumstances, I had to cancel my trip to Houston to help my mom move. Her house is back on the market now. :(

Rave: Celebrating Statia-American Day this week because our island was the first nation to recognize US Independence in 1776.

Rant: The noise from the celebrations being in the street right in front of my house with music so loud that I can feel the bass in my chest as I type this.

Rave: Tuesday is offically Statia Day and therefore a holiday (no work)!

Rave: Those who can concur with rjw's sentiments about respecting everyone's opinions regarding politics.

Rave: I concur with Enya's first three raves, being that I am an islander as well.

Rave: GoTravel is going on a camping trip!

Rant: Gosh I miss camping.

Rant: The loss of jasper's friend.

Amazed, has the jury for Scott Peterson finished deliberating? There is a definite on the 4PM?

GT - Yes, I'm watching CNN - verdict at 4pm.

News reports say jury reached a decision and it will be announced at 4 est. Hard to believe, given two were taken off in very recent days. Check Yahoo.com for details.

Do note that 4:00pm is Eastern Time, so 1:00pm Pacific Time.

Kim-You are a good Mom. I am amazed at how many parents let their kids go off with boys or stay over at people's houses they don't know.

Rave: DS has another second interview with another company next week. There might be some difficult decisions ahead for him and some heartbreak for mom as he REALLY leaves the nest, for good :(

Rant: DH will leave on another one of his week-long trips. At least he's headed to a warmer climate.

Rave: The first fire of the year is burning in our fireplace! It's really not cold enough here in Alabama, but it's November, for heaven's sake!

Rave: We have plenty of firewood.

Rant: It came from all the downed trees and limbs from Ivan!

Rave: I made four loaves of spiced pumpkin bread from two of the pumpkins from our garden. I'll freeze them for Christmas..nice to take as party hostess gifts.

Rave: Big SEC football game tomorrow--Auburn (husband's alma mater) vs. Georgia.

Confession: I haven't read the whole thread -- I'm just here to vent.

Rant: Express train from Boston to NY was half an hour late. Why did I bother paying extra?

Rant: Had to stand in a looong taxi line in the rain for 15 minutes to get a cab. Traffic was so slow that I wasn't able to meet a friend for cocktails, our only opportunity.

Rave: Phil Flash's show near Boston was a smash! There were about 300 people attending, including many dear friends from the area.

Rave: I met CigaleChanta, who came to the show with her husband. (Thanks!)

Rave: I have a whole day in Manhattan tomorrow to do whatever I want.
