"Freaky Friday Rants and Raves" 11-12
 

rant: I can't make up my mind if I should cancel or stay with my Thanksgiving trip to Texas. There are too many factors weighing in.

rave: Knowing that I am not the only person who is having holiday decision problems.

How about we stay off the politics this time?

Rant: Credit card toll-free numbers which make you key-in five billion numbers to talk to a real person.

Rave: Pressing 0 a dozen times until a real person answers.

Rant: ABC affiliates who didn't air "Saving Private Ryan". One of the best films ever made.

rant: I now feel back in my life! We've been home from France for 18 days. A wicked night at the hospital made it all come rushing back :(

Rave: staying away from politics on this forum. Post US Election: I felt myself not wanting to puruse fodor's.

Rave: Retrofitting is almost done. The Jackhammers in the early am are rough.

Rave: two weeks to go until the Yountville Fodor's GTG

Rant: People who complain about others who post messages that "aren't about travel" or are "about politics" and then post ANY message on a thread like this.

Rave: People who know what to wear wherever they travel.

Rant- Ugly rainy New Jersey fall days and having to drive to DC.

Rave- My family is well and intact this week.

Rave- One week until my first cruise (Southern Caribbean).

Rave- Handsome, kind, loving men (man).

Rave: My father in law is coming to town this weekend.

Rant: My mother in law is coming to town this weekend.

Rave: Its my first time posting in FFRR!
Rant:Its been raining for days on end here in the beautiful British Virgin Islands!
Rave: The nights have been cooler than usual. Great for sleeping
Rave: And we are so thankful that mother nature has been merciful to us this Hurricane Season
Rave: My friend's baby son gets christened this weekend!

Rave: Had a fantastic time cross-border shopping in Buffalo with 3 friends yesterday. Good bargains at the outlet mall, no major weather or traffic problems, and even the Customs and Immigration people were pleasant.
Rant: Moving to BC next fall means we won't be able to do our annual cross-border Buffalo shopping expedition, at least not next year.

RAVE: Fall is really here; we're going to have lows in the 30's in Raleigh the next few days! Yay!!!!!!!!!

RAVE: Going to N. C. mountains for the weekend.

RAVE: Exercised for almost five months now; just started the weight training, along with water aerobics! :-)

RANT: Weight plateaus........ still holding at 24 off! :-(

RAVE: All the salutes to our Veterans on their day yesterday.

RAVE: I have a lot of my Christmas shopping DONE!

Rant: In a fit of airheadedness, he ran into my car that was parked in the driveway with his big honkin' SUV.

Rave: Camping for the first time with him this weekend!

Rant: Have to stop in VA for my cousin's wedding first.

Rave- Sunny day - DH returning home from business in Saudi Arabia.
RAnt- about 1/2 hour after he lands we have a black tie Gala to attend. But, Looking forward to getting dressed up.

Rave - Looking forward to going to the Theatre w/ my 9 year old son to see Polar Express.

RAVE RAVE RAVE: Best friends from out of state coming for the weekend!

Rave: Seeing the Neville Brothers tomorrow night.
Rant: It's rainy, it's ugly here in New Jersey.

raves: To the Woodstock, VA police department for closing off Main Street (rte 11) during the Veterans Day ceremony in front of the courthouse.

To the American Legion in Woodstock for providing lunch afterards to those attending the ceremony.

Ahh, smalltown USA. It's great.

Rave: I think I'm done traveling to VA for awhile! I've gone on 4 business trips there in the past 4 weeks...not fun. My traffic surveys (that I hired 40 people for) on Tuesday went smoothly...I'm SO relieved!

Rant: We have two weddings to go to tomorrow. Both at 7PM. One in NJ and one in LI. We told both that we would be there. How we are going to pull this off, I don't know. OH, and it's going to be in the 30s...why can't they make nice formal dresses that have SLEEVES?

Rave: Cold weather ((c))

Rave: Woke up this morning with the cat sitting on my chest peering down into my face...reminded me of Snoopy when he sits on his dog house or someone's head :-)

Rant: Killer's bladder infection is back :-(

Rave: Increased dosage of antibiotics mean crushed pills into food versus neon pink liquid sqeezed between clenched teeth ;)

Rave: Husband is out of town this weekend = time to myself :-D (Joc, this means I'll be catching up on email! :-) )

Rave: Shall We Dance--cute flick! ((~))

Rant: Dress rehearsal next week...not looking forward to wearing a skimpy costume in freezing temperatures for an hour :-O
