jor, you whippersnapper, you sure got an early start today.
Rant: I won't be able to post on Freaky friday next week. Rave: Because I will be hiking at Zion w/best friend, then having a massage at the new Flanigan's spa! So who cares if the wind is blowing 40 mph today in D.C.! Rave: I just found out that I got my kids into camps away from home for the same week in early August, so I get to plan a getaway alone w/spouse. Rave: Spouse is away at spring training boys time in Florida this weekend. He deserves it. Rave: We go to Florida for a week two wks from tomorrow! Lots of travel to look forward to. I hope the Freaky Friday posts stay supportive and positive today. It is usually such an uplifting way to end the week. Last week it had very weird vibes. |

Rant: Bosses & some co-workers have been traveling all over the world this month for a project, & I have to sort through all the receipts & exchange rates to make sense of it all!
Rave: One of the bosses who irks me will be gone next week to Italy Rant: That means more receipts and conversions! Rave: Spring starts tomorrow Rant: It doesn't look like it here in NYC with this 60 degrees one day, 30 and snowing the next day weather Rave: May be able to get a first class upgrade and a convertible in Miami next month! Rave: 5 more weeks till Miami and Puerto Rico!! |

Rave: Its supposed to be near 60 next week. Rave: My daughter received official notice (from her top college choice) that they want to actively recruite her for soccer after July 1. (NCAA rules) Division 1 school. Here's hoping for scholarship money. Rave: Beginning to plan my vacation for next December. |

Rave - Last weekend I traded my big beautiful Ford SuperCrew truck and bought a cute Toyota Matrix!
Rave - 30MPG in the City! Rant - Needed my truck 2 days later to transport stuff from Home Depot to my home! Rave - Headed to NYC next week to work and celebrate the 18th birthday of my youngest daughter. Rant - My baby is 18! :( |

Rave/Rant: I just finished the first week of our 10 day vacation in Arizona and New Mexico! Rave: I'm at the Grand Canyon in the Bright Angel Lodge right now and the temp. is in the 80's. Rant: Did not pack one pair of shorts or short sleeve shirt because the temps have been in the 60's (which being from Florida, I think is chilly!). |
Rave: it's very cold and snowy in Toronto, where I live. Why is this a rave, you may ask? Because I'm in Vancouver right now, the flowers are in bloom, the sun is shining and we just came back from a yummy lunch on Granville Island. And my sweetie's choir is singing a concert tonight and I get to go and hear it. :)

Somehow a grout job turned into a new bathroom. Rave: home equity. The on-going and ridiculous rise in Bay Area Housing prices. The weather in the SF Bay Area..more days of 80 degree weather in mid-March. |
Rant: Spent good part of my work work making travel plans for everyone else and I don't get to go!
