I really don't know why I am being name called and insulted.
I simply asked a question which was : are they physically taking everything out of your carry on? I am not trying to break the rules or take items which are restricted. I was just wondering if they are , then I will consider checking our carryons. Melissa |
As I said -- If it is prohibited - if you don't remove it (and either put it in your checked bag or throw it away) before screening -- they wil throw it away for you.
What else are you asking?? |
Melissa,
Are you flying British Air? If so, you WON'T HAVE any carry-ons. |
The answer is "yes." You are only allowed a few things and if you have more, it will be thrown out. Plan to check everything except the most primitive basics if you are flying to the UK.
Some airlines are allowing you to book to other cities in Europe where you can carry on more things. |
You are not allowed carry ons to the UK. You will be given a ziplock bag and allowed your travel documents, passports, wallet, etc and thats all. If you show up at the security line with a carryon bag, or forbidden items like lipstick or water bottles, you will either have to go back to the airline checkin line and check it in, or you will have to throw it away.
You should arrive at Newark 3 hours in advance for a UK flight. |
