Hi Scarlett! Yes, naturally it was down today because it was the day i'm home trying to do some research! lol It seems to be back up now, though.

Yup, the TA forums server was down several times.
I cannot stay in every local hotel and B&B, but have stayed in more than a handful, have eaten in many, and try to visit each place in which someone has a serious interest if it has not been reviewed tens or scores of times. I try to spend time with the owners or at least the management and get the help to show me the details.
We have used all the services I have mentioned except as noted.
Life here is great, and yes I used TA and Fodors planning our next trip to Argentina (Buenos Aires; Iguazu; Bariloche) and Chile (Andes X'ing; Colchagua wine area; Santiago).
