Given the choice to shop for bargains, I find Nordstrom's Rack far better than the Outlet stores. I've never bought anything there that's worth the effort in on Outlet. But, like all things, I guess it must be tried first. Your wife probably won't feel satisfied if she does not give the Outlets a chance.

It sounds like your wife has it in her mind that outlet mall shopping is on her "must see" and "to do" list. Surely you can afford one day to let her loose at the outlet mall. Or it will come back to haunt you every time YOU want to do something that she does not.
