SAnParis is a man!?!?
I didn't know that!
I'll be sure to have a Miss Stephanie the next time I'm in Savannah (which was supposed to be tomorrow, but I changed my plans).

You haven't been paying attention starrsville. The story goes like this, we stroll by this place (Times on Bay) & walk in (there used to be a sign that said reservations only) as they only have one seating for dinner. We are having one of the most enjoyable evenings in a long time & my wife orders a drink which the bar tender is unfamiliar with (it contains, Chambord, Nucello & something else). It is sometimes called 2 nuts & a berry, & oftentimes Frangelico is substituted for the Nucello. My wife was originally served this in The Court of Two Sisters bar in NOLA by Miss May who has long since retired, probably 12 or so years ago. Anyway, there was a table of somewhat stuffy Savannah-type ladies enjoying their dinner and as they rose to leave they stopped by our table to ask "...what kind of marvelous drink are you enjoying dahling..." "We've never seen Edward make such a thing". To which my wife replyed w/a straight face "...why it's a Miss Stephanie dahling, you really must try one sometime". Hence the Miss Stephanie is well-known in at least one restaurant in Savannah & some similar establishments in Amelia Island. We got quite a chuckle, as did our server.

Times on Bay (?) where is it? I'm not sure if its still there, when were you last in Savannah?

9 E. Bay St. 912-232-5116. It has been a couple of years since we were there but it would be a shame if it were closed. It doesn't much look like naything from the outside. I got the address from the Savannah online website. It is right on the main drag near the Drayton Ramp.

I think that is now a Tony Roma's but I could be wrong. I'll check, I'm always on the lookout for new places!

It was in a pretty non-descript building right across the street from one of the larger hotels. Let me know what you find out.

It was clsoe to the Hyatt and quite close to the corner of Bull St and Bay--south side of Bay St, just east of Bull. The major part of the restaurant was downstairs.

Next to the Customs House and across the street from the Hyatt and City Hall? Hate to break it to you guys but its a Tony Roma's now.
