Thanks for the note about Teasim. I checked their website and I think the adults would be ok, but it might prove "iffy" for the kids. So I'm still open for breakfast/brunch locales near St Patrick's Church (Easter Sunday). Thanks everyone!

If waffles, french toast, scrambled eggs, scones, oatmeal, and granola are "iffy", then I am at my wits end.

Gee, I certainly didn't mean to put anyone at "wits end". I did look at their menu, and while they have sourdough french bread, I didn't see "regular" eggs or things such as bacon or homefries .. .the stuff that typical picky teens like. I did however see the scones, Cilantro scrambled eggs and chicken sausage. I can't (and won't) make apologies for my kids bland taste buds and thus perhaps should have been more specific in my request for "regular breakfast food". My apologies for pushing you to the brink. Thanks again to you and to any others who might respond. It is truly appreciated.

No problem.

If you want a GREAT "regular style" breakfast, you could always take a 10 minute taxi ride back up to the Tabard Inn - see above (reservations required).

Closer to St. Patrick's, the hotel your staying at, Marriott Metro Center, is certainly a safe bet for a "regular" breakfast. The quality is typical of a chain hotel breakfast. That is to say, just OK.

A diner close to St. Patrick's is the Waffle House at 10th & F. Hash browns, bacon, toast, grits, etc. - it's pretty good. Somewhat of a dive - you'll be the best dressed group there in your Easter outfits.

Hope this helps.

Also a 10 minute taxi from St. Patrick's is is Luna Grille - see above. Typical breakfast food and much better than your average hotel breakfast buffet.
