Typically (but not always) you need a Saturday night stay to qualify for the best fares.<BR>Just tell me the darn dates and I will get you exact prices.

yes, that appears to be my problem - if i want to fly on saturday the round trip is 1200, if i wait until sunday its 450 - well, despite the bumps in communication along the way, you all have been most helpful and i appreciate all your input

Hope you've jumped on that airfare by now --- it sounds like one of those "snooze, you loose" opportunities. If you wait too long, I'd bet that airfare is back up with what the others are charging.<BR><BR>I flew back from Fort Lauderdale yesterday on American Airlines --- it was a full plane both coming & going. They're making changes to cut back on costs, but as far as I know they're not planning to go under. And as I live in one of their major hub cities, I'd probably hear any rumblings should it become an issue.<BR>
