Wow! Thanks everyone. I am printing this out to give to them. I am sure they will have a great time. My brother just got them tickets to a Cubs game too.
Thanks for all of the restaurant choices and theater ideas. |
Girlonthego, if they are going to the Cubs game and want to go somewhere for dinner after, try Tango Sur on N. Southport (5 blocks west of Wrigley Field, just north of the Music Box Theatre a couple of doors). They might also want to check out what is playing at the Music Box when they are here.

Just a note on Mortons, Chicago's is the original and as often is the case, the best. My husband is a huge steak "connesieur" and swears by it-Gibsons is much more atmosphere than food, and Ruths Chris you can get nin NY. If they like a good porkchop, (or are Ditka fans) they should definately try Ditkas.) The food is surprisingly good for a "celebrity" owned place. If they venture to Little Italy on Taylor St. (near UIC), some restaurants are definate better than others-my personal favorites are Tuscany (also one close to Wrigley Field) and Francescas. Some people like Rosebud as well. Pompeii is a great little "fast food" Italian place further west down Taylor on the south side-great slices and pasta but it's counter service.

Okay ladies,
My mom would like a recommendation for a good haircut. She had her haircut in NJ and it looked great. She complains that nobody in central Va can cut a decent haircut. She is fashionable, not an old lady.(She dresses better than me. ) I have booked the Spiagga's and Saloon Steakhouse restaurants. |
