I'm here. Had a private tour (no one else signed up and I cut a deal). Just had lunch at the Tuck Box. Ordered dish towels at Jan de Luz and will go back to pick them up. My camera is messed up so I'm checking the online help but may have to go to the camera shop. Headed to the beach in a little while.

I was going to be here just one night, but I'm tired of moving. So, I'm enjoying Carmel for a second night. LOVED the Cypress Inn - but had to move. Like the new place just fine though.

It's been a very nice day - although Sunday in Sonoma was GLORIOUS!

Hi Starrs!!! Glad to know where you are. I am glad the weather is good, it has become cloudly here where I am as of about noon.

A really wonderful thing to do in Carmel is take a tour of Tor House, the poet Robinson Jeffers home. Built on a gorgeous location, with a tower he built himself to write in, it's right on the beach. Check with website for dates and event:
http://www.torhouse.org/tours.htm It gives you a feeling for the old Carmel and lots of wonderful information about a poet you may not know much about.

Tor House is a great place but not on a beach at all.
