It must be fate! Here I am trying to find help in planning a trip to the grand canyon and came upon your recipe. Just minutes ago I was eating pecans and thinking about making banana bread tomorrow with my squashy bananas that are residing in the fruit bowl! I have all the ingredients needed for your bread which is a rarity , so I know what i shall be doing tomorrow! thank you!

No, I didn't try it with cream cheese. Looks like I iwll have to go out and buy more bananas--and the cream cheese. Do you suggest the plain whipped, flavored, or sweetened with sugar????

Offlady, I used the plain whipped but I imagine any of the three would not be bad! :-) So glad that so many of you are trying this recipe ...
