Camels in the Mojave??
 
Is there really camels in the Mojave or am I just a naive believer. SOmeone told me once was and believes there still is???????<BR>Thanks<BR>Jan

I really don't think so. Camels are not native to the US. I think you are just super-naive.

Jan, although it may be not Mojave, but there are camel ride tours going out of, I believe, Palm Springs. Not sure if they go to Mojave or it's a park ride in that area. Anybody in Palm Springs?

Jan, you are right! there is a tour group, I'm not sure if they have a web site ( try google) that has camel tours of the Mojave. I saw it on either E or the travel channel, and it looked like a lot of fun.
