Hairspray and Lion King would be great choices. While Lion King sounds "kiddish", it really is fantastic. Here's another thought - Blue Man which is off Broadway. My 14 year old has seen it twice and brought her 15 year old cousins to it. They loved it. It's really a neat show. I've been 3 times..... Susan

Since no one has answered you on the Benjamin hotel, I'll just say it's supposed to be terific. Have you looked at reviews on tripadvisor.com?

To add to your Italian rest. options, I also like Lattanzi on restaurant row (46th betw. 8th & 9th). But if you go to Hairspray which I think is on 52 st., a closer option is ViceVersa on 51 st betw 8th & 9th. Here's a URL for some reviews & you can look at the menu.

If you had a choice what hotel would you choose? St Regis is booked for that time............
