Why do they have a shuttle? They are 3 blocks from Bourbon Street!

I live just around a few blocks from the Landmark in question. There is indeed another Landmark on Severn in Metairie. I would try to find something else but would stay at the Landmark if nothing else in your price range is available. The streets from the Landmark to Bourbon and middle of the Quarter are rather dark and deserted but for the most part safe - as long as you aren't roaming the streets after drinking in the middle of the night. A cab is always an inexpensive insurance policy. If you want to look at other hotels, try the Dauphine Orleans or Le Richelieu. Hope you have a great trip.
