We are trying to get a large group together for a long weekend in October to go to Vegas. Any website suggestions for great deals?

If you're looking for the best room rates, often the hotels themselves are best. And if your group really is large, call them and talk about group rates for the rooms.

Many of the vegas hotels now guarantee that booking directly with them will give you the lowest rate or they refund the difference, usually plus some bonus. Perhaps, some site might offer prepaid reservations with some sort of discount, but that doesn't usually qualify for the guarantee as it must be a cancelable reservation.

I found a good website for hotel rates in Las Vegas - "i4vegas.com - I got REALLY good rates at some good hotels on there recently - even on the Strip. Also, try AAA for discounts if you're a member.

I check vegas.com to see which weeks are the most reasonable in price, and then book direct with the hotel website.
