Best Theme Parks in central Florida
Hello,<BR>I'm 34 years old and planning a 4 days trip to central florida area. What is your daily suggestions for theme parks to visit.Thanks in advance.<BR><BR>

Universal's Islands of Adventure is FANTASTIC. Don't know how you feel about Disney. If you want info on Disney and Universal and Seaworld, go to www.disboards.com <BR> You might also like Busch Gardens.

As one adult recommending to another, I would definitely agree with Scherl about Islands of Adventure.<BR>The rides, and the whole design of the park is simply amazing. The creativety and execution of each 'theme' area is remarkable. The rides are also state-of-the-art; the Spiderman ride is currently the most sophisticated theme park ride in the world, it combines 3-D IMAX projection with a motion ride that is on a track, so rather than the ride just shaking up/down & back/forth, you are doing that WHILE moving forward and around on a track, , so the environment scenery changes as you move. What you 'see' is a combination of 3-D projection, scale model recreations, and special effects, like real fire, & steam! It was simply an amazing ride.

Universal and Island of Adventure are both great---both parks are side by side - The city walk is also there with shops, restaurants, bars, clubs, hotels nearby where you can easily walk to the parks themselves w/o paying for parking or cab fare.

My husband and I just got back from Orlando and have to say we loved the Universal Parks and really didn;t enjoy Disney much at all. Maybe if we had gone to Disney first and then Universal it may have been different.<BR> However Disney is old and kind of outdated while Universal had great attractions and more things of interest for adults. They also sell a ticket book fo express entry onto rides. Much better system then Disneys fast pass which is annoying at beast.
