Mon Ami Gabi for lunch. For dinner I like Andre's, or for something different Red Square.

Nobu in the Hard Rock is my all time favorite - but it is primarily sushi. Another great choice is Aqua in the Bellagio. Both are expensive, really good food and excellent wine lists. Didn't love Nobhill, although it is a beautiful place.

Another great place for pre-dinner drinks and a great meal is the Palms rest. in the Ceasars Forum shops. Great steaks, lobster, and awesome sides. If you go, get a table in Frankie's station. You won't be disappointed!

Olives at the Bellagio is a great choice if you don't want to spend an arm and leg at one of the other great Bellagio restaurants. Excellent food and the view of the dancing waters.
Also, the French bistro across the street at Paris [can't remember the name] has very good food and outdoor seating to also see the Bellagio fountain. |
Looking for a very romantic restaurant - money is no object - any suggestions?

I did love my experience at Aqua at the Bellagio...but I thought I read that the restaurant is no more... Is this true?

Without a doubt , Rosemarys- off the strip but worth it!
Has a fixxed price dinner for 3 courses... Here is the link- it was awesome! We were in Vegas in Oct and did Rosemary's , Le Cirque in the Bellagio and Bouchon in the Venetian. Bouchon is a french bistro--not fancy.. It is NOTHING like the French Laundry by the same chef in Napa Valley--nice but nothing exciting..Portions are HUGE- definitely enough to share..Prices are also high.. Le Cirque ( we had been there before and had terrific service) but this time the service was horrible- and for $250 a couple ,a person should get outstanding service. Rosemary's was ideal - FABULOUS gourmet food but at terrific prices... Picasso's is also supposed to be good- we had friends that went there.. |

Last week, we liked :
Red 8 for serene Chinese cuisine in marvelous decor; w/o a crowd. Nobu for sushi in a 20s and 30s party atmosphere at the Hard Rock. Aureole for lounge atmosphere, unbeatable wine selection, and for Charlie Palmer's culinary creativity w/excellent service from server Jason. Olive's for hotel-side view of fountains & Eiffel tower, the swordfish and salmon. Canaletto for the service and desserts in a false Italian cafe setting near street artist and indoor gondola canal. VooDoo Lounge for a party atmosphere, a view, and over-the-top service from Mgr Mike Tarantino. ________________________________ Returned last night after 9 days in the Vegas, dcd, ask me something specific. I'll try to help you out. |
