To iflydelta, I feel sorry for the people you work with at Delta...hope they don't have your pompous attitude!

Iflydelta Oct 17th, 2002 05:19 PM

GINA .. do not speak to me unless you are told to.

And just how do you know they clean the robes after each guest? I've never seen robes on the maid's cart. I don't think they change them and I don't use them. I like rooms with robes, though, because I like the rooms! Double sheeted beds, you know. Which makes me wonder, do you think they change the top sheet each time.....

you have to have seen the 60 minute shows..... where they get grossed out.... they dont clean the sheets often at the hotels... semen stains and urine and feces stains... not pretty...but watch out!! bring the ALL with you lmao

I generally stay at hotels that offer robes. My wife loves them, sometimes I use them, sometimes not. My observation is that they're extremely clean and certainly good quality. My wife hates to pack anything extra so she's somewhat like jilly...it is important to her. I agree, usually a hotel is at least a 3-4 star to even offer them so, all things equal....I'll opt for a hotel with robes, they're usually nicer all and all.

Go Jilly....I like robes in my room too! I did see that 60 minutes thing though, kinda gross, even the nicest places. We stay in a Bellagio Suite every spring and love the robes. Have fun!

have I gone to sleep and woken up in someone's nightmare about bathrobes!!!

Placename Oct 29th, 2011 11:44 AM

You have to be pathetically desperate to spam a 9 year-old post.

DebitNM Oct 29th, 2011 03:36 PM

PLEASE LEAVE THIS THREAD - it is hysterical and a great glimpse back to preregistration days and how people posted with newly made up names just for a reply!

ziggypop Oct 29th, 2011 06:10 PM

I reported sparobes but the advertising stayed for some reason. It is a nice pissing contest....

santamonica Oct 30th, 2011 04:24 AM

tipping the pilot was the best, i think. what's fun is to see how differently people react to quirky. But i really just wanted to post something here, anything, to be a part of those wonderful preregistration days when life was good and people were clever, men were more handsome, and the women all beautiful.

I hate it when I read "comment has been removed by Fodor's moderators." It's a curiosity thing.
