Hey Eza, here are a few other things to do on the East Coast:

Savannah, GA (pre-civil war town that was NOT burned during the war) - Great architecture, great bars. 4 hour drive from Atlanta.

New Orleans, LA - All around good time town. If you hate boring stuff, then you'll LOVE New Orleans. Check out the French Quarter, eat some cajun food, get pissdrunk on hurricanes (local drink), get a voodoo doll. 7-8 hour drive from Atlanta. I LOVE this town.

Personally, I wouldn't recommend Disneyworld, but that's just the kinda guy I am. If I was going to another country, I wouldn't want to spend the absurd $ it costs to go there, and it's just...too long of a drive, in my opinion.

While you're in Atlanta, you should check out:
Decatur (several bars, good acoustic music at Eddie's Attic).

Little Five Points (Cool neighborhood, very Euro feeling, Several good Bars/Restaurants, Good live music at the Star Bar, or Variety Playhouse). Go eat mediterranean food at Olive Bistro. Yum. Or grab the Best Hamburger in Atlanta at the Vortex. Double Yum. Good shopping at odd stores like Junkman's Daughter, Abbadabba's, Criminal Records OR Wax & Facts records, several other stores. Definitely check this place out.

Virginia Highlands - I can't wholeheartedly endorse the nightlife in this neighborhood, but there are a lot of bars & restaurants, and it's always crowded, so people like it for some reason. Also, there are a lot of small botique shops, making for a good daytime stroll.

East Atlanta Village - Like a smaller version of Little Five Points. Several good bars (Gravity Pub & The Earl are my favorites). Good food at Heaping Bowl, Vegan, Burrito Art, I Love Thai Cafe, Iris...this is my 'hood, so I'm a little biased towards it.

Buckhead is the most popular "neighborhood" that people visit when they come to Atlanta, and you might like it. However, it is very much a zoo on most nights. Insane traffic, bars tend to not have much character...I don't know...just never been too crazy about it. Someone mentioned going to Fado (an Irish pub) - That's a pretty neat little bar, but other than that, Buckhead stinks.

Just my two cents worth. If you want any more specific info, just ask away.
