Texas traveler, I just read an article in USA today that said that Elton John was going to double his performances.We saw the show in October and cannot wait to go back.Check out Caesars website, they should have his schedule. It is simply awesome. I gave more details and my e-mail address on a previous response if you have any questions. Shane, he cant be too much of a nut, all his shows are sold out.

Well I am quite jealous of those who got to go. I am a big EJ fan. I did see him with Billy Joel in Atlanta,,,but the acoustics were terrible IMO. We just mat take a trip to Vegas in Feb to see him.

I went last week and saw him on 10/24. Excellent show. Different because it was Vegas. The things I liked were the stage show and he also spent quite a bit of time talking to the audience between each song, something he generally doesn't do on tour. The thing I didn't like was that it wasn't a typical "Elton" crowd. It was a Vegas crowd who wanted to see a show. I wanted to stand up and dance like I normally do at an Elton show, but I would've been one of the very few dancing. For the lucky fans in the first 3 rows or so in the middle two sections, they got to go up and dance around the piano on Saturday Nights Alright for Fighting. I was on row 7 in sec 4, and the usher turned me away. Got my seat through Ticketmaster.

To Heavens. I don't think your teenagers would like it. I know my 15 yr old daughter wouldn't and she's grown up with me brainwashing her with Elton. It's a lot of money to spend to have two bored kids sitting next to you.

It must be me, but the price for the concert seems out of proportion to the event. I can stay 4 nights at the Bellagio, fountain view, for the price of 2 orchestra tickets. To each his own.

Does Elton John perform with Tony Danza in Las Vegas?

One son saw him with Billy Joel in Chicago and absolutely loved both.

I have kids in a wide age range and they love music from eons beyond their own eras.

The prices for concerts in general at this time are outrageous. And his in particular are disgraceful. He should curb his ridiculous shopping addiction and give his fans a decent entry price. I personally boycott all entertainers who gouge and that includes Celine.

JackB, I would have done anything (well, almost) to have seen the Phil Collins' farewell tour. But alas, he sold here in Buffalo very quickly. I would love to see Elton John, as well. I'd rather pay a lot of money to see EJ or Phil Collins than Jimmy Buffet!

We saw him in October. He was amazing but I agree with others that the background stuff was distracting. I really tried hard just to concentrate on his amazing piano skills and voice. We got tickets through the MGM hotel on line. He is worth seeing even though it is expensive. Enjoy!
