I happened to drive down Central this morning.

"Econo lodge, Stardust Inn and Americas Best Value Inn all at Central ave." are really seedy, just off the interstate. Avoid at all cost.

Hiway House is actually a really good location, in the heart of Nob Hill. I didn't have a chance to stop to see rooms. If you go there, ask for a room that doesn't back onto Bryn Mawr St. There is lots of foot traffic along there on weekend night. {Read that, loud and drunk foot traffic]

Will check out Sandia Peak next week for you.

I just looked at Tripadvisor for Hiway House - I guess my first inclination was right - just keep on heading down the highway and pass it by. ICK.
