There goes the neighborhood.

iceeu2 Nov 8th, 2005 05:44 AM

Mary2Go, you only have to have it in your mind and have the desire to be a K9er! To my knowledge, the membership roster is invisible!

g'lou and billy...behave! You have been good for a week or so and that should continue!:))

((r))i'2

makai1 Nov 8th, 2005 05:49 AM

((L)) thy neighbor... everybody play nice >:D<

Kee beach.

Ok... ((I))

How many visits does it take to decide this is just one more rainy, bug infested trip filled with nothing to do for days on end???? :-?

iamq Nov 8th, 2005 06:54 AM

makai1,

Regarding your question for the quiz:

For Kal or for the rest of us? :-d

It's raining in northern California! That means the dreaded rainy day recess is in effect!

Kal Nov 8th, 2005 09:56 AM

Wow...guess it's true....first liar loses!!!!:-P

Mrs Kal got 2 right....she's just arm candy over there. :-D

CaliNurse...you owe me a glass of wine!
Faina and I will not tolerate no shows! [-X

G'lou, Can you please drop by and clean the coffee outta my keyboard?

Mary2,
Maybe we can call it "Krabby Kal's Kauaiian Koffee Klatch of Kliqueish Kaustic Komedian's Klubhouse"?

CaliNurse Nov 8th, 2005 12:09 PM

Kal, yes, will do. Sorry about other time--had good reason which I'll explain in person--not for broadcast here. As long as you promise not to again refer to me as "Dr. Josef Mengele's nurse." Doubt Faina would find that funny either. I liked your answer on the "You know you've been on Fodors too long when..." thread. So true, thank heaven. Ah, the ups and dwons and ups of social intercourse.

Still no answers to the question about chickens at letter K place? C'mon, Kauai people! It's seriously so bad that I was warned by locals to expect NO sleep at all there.
Gyppielou...I hesitated to post anything in fear of rustling some feathers, then thought, "How ridiculous is that?!"
P.S. Know what a Kode Brown is?

iceeu2 Nov 8th, 2005 12:23 PM

Down gyppielou...down girl!!

iamq Nov 8th, 2005 12:51 PM

This keeps getting funnier and funnier!

Gee, I know why I did not answer Cali's question. I actually never read it.

-Bill

FainaAgain Nov 8th, 2005 12:59 PM

How did I get into this post? I hardly ever read Hawaii posts and normally don't post as I've never been to Hawaii. Even Kal knows it!

And why is it The Nurse trying to put a wedge between me and my pal Kal? Now I have to read all his posts to see where is that Mengele reference... darn! My work will suffer :)

iamq Nov 8th, 2005 01:18 PM

Faina,

Think of all the fun you've been missing!

-Bill

FainaAgain Nov 8th, 2005 01:20 PM

I haven't find the Mendele line, probably got deleted, but I found this:

If you're in SF tomorrow, drop by Kuleto's Wine Bar around 4-5:00 pm and I'll buy you a drink...if Faina hasn't drained the bar by then calling it "migraine medicine".

Now I know where I'm getting migraines from... FROM READING KAL'S POSTS!

How many more days of migraines till Kal's off to manhandling those mules on Hawaii?

CaliNurse Nov 8th, 2005 01:36 PM

FainaAgain, Kal mentioned you in this thread because he'd invited me for a drink when you, Mrs Kal, and he were meeting in SF a few weeks ago. I certainly did NOT mean to "put a wedge between" friends and apologize to you, and regret that it was taken this way. Rather, sometimes personal friends can explain things better than some faceless name on a screen. I hesitate to write on the US Board these days, for fear of what will be read into it, or that people will use it as an opportunity to jump all over what I've said. That is ridiculous.. .so I've not stopped posting.
Re: your research, the invite to Kuleto's and the reference to "Mengele's nurse" you can find on the "Humourless" post of a few weeks ago.

FainaAgain Nov 8th, 2005 01:37 PM

Oh, by the way, Code Brown, if some people don't know, is a page code in hospitals when a patient is discharged and leaves a box of chocolates behind.

JohnD Nov 8th, 2005 01:39 PM

Doh, only 24((Y)), ((o)) for more <font color="blue">bible<font color="black">[-o&lt;
Last time I listen to a Menehune :S-</font></font>

CaliNurse Nov 8th, 2005 01:45 PM

Faina, LOL re: your migraines, and the positive spin on &quot;Code Brown&quot;!! I'll share that one at the hospital! If--WHEN--we meet at some Bay Area gtg, remind me to tell you the story of the patient and her offer of chocolates.
Reference to Dr. M's nurse was not deleted--it's in the same response you mentioned, but a few paragraphs above.

JohnD Nov 8th, 2005 01:50 PM

Is Kaua`i like a ((G)) of chocolates:?

iamq Nov 8th, 2005 01:52 PM
