A quiz for the K9s and...
|
Hmmm, that was pretty bad, considering I'm a Hawaii state resident. I only got 24 correct.
|
iceeu2: I see I've got to have a refresher course (re-read my Blue Book) before I ever actually go to Kauai! My score was only 20!
Oh, wait, I see chepar's post now...that definately makes me feel alittle better!:)) Belle |
I've only been to Kauai once, and I got a 22 out of the 34, which makes me a "D" Student.
That only means that more research is required. :D Thanks, I2, that was fun. |
I2,
How on earth did you find this? What fun! And it is travel related! I also like how you included those who are not in our Klique. >:-) I got 28 right! Not bad. What was your score? ((R)) -Bill |
That was fun, thanks for posting.
I got 25 of 34, not too bad! |
Great site clique-borgette, I'2.
I only got 3. I really haven't been there. I just Google all my info. ((U)) Mahalo, Kal billy....26..and I could argue some of the incorrect answers. [-X 51!!!!! |
i got a whoppin 30!
: o ) |
I got 27, which is pretty good for me (been there 3 times, but never really studied the hard "facts" of the island).
|
Got 28. Pretty damn proud of meself. Obviously need to back for more research. Eva
|
I had 26 right. My problem spots dealt with numbers & dates.
|
Well dang' I'm not ganna BRAG,,,,,
Close but no spleef? spliff? Close but no cigar! but I did pretty damn good. Yet still don't have my doctorate in Kauai travels. Dontcha know that stupid Hanalei Pier got me down with Q19. Now I'm gonna have to carry my sorry aaa to Hanalei for more research....and here I thought we had that area down. " Nobody knows the troubles I see....spending all my money after taxes,,,,,, studyin' Hanalei...." |
Aloha K9's and fellow researchers... ROTFL <i> "Stop in the middle of the bridge to take a picture" </i> ! Billy & Eeva, I'm w/ you! 28... hmmmph [( I must know more! Another trip needed for more purposeful research! ;;)
Mahalo icee. ((K)) |
ooops,
Kal, I knew there was a reason why I find you googlicious!!! |
It seems the research must continue! I got 27.
((r))i'2 |
I got 22 and I've never been there! Y'all must be rubbing off on me or something. :)) ((r))
Lee Ann |
Gosh, how do I know if I am a wannabe or a K9? I scored a 27, but I didn't see any questions about rain or roaches so I think I could have done better. If I had listened closely to the time share guy I would have one more right... I know they covered the percentege of land for residential development. I need a two week refresher course!
|
Iceeu2,
I was just looking at the rest of the site...very interesting....do I see a K9 Kamp of the future? |
Hmmm...I wonder how auntiem did on it?
I think we need to write our own Kaua'i pop quiz. Any ideas? -Bill |
Here's one:
Which Kauai visitor accomodation contains the largest number of chickens per square foot? (Hint: It begins with the favorite letter of the K9 Klub.) |
!!!!!!!!!!!Intruder Intruder, Kode Blue Kode Blue!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
|
There goes the neighborhood.
|
Mary2Go, you only have to have it in your mind and have the desire to be a K9er! To my knowledge, the membership roster is invisible!
g'lou and billy...behave! You have been good for a week or so and that should continue!:)) ((r))i'2 |
((L)) thy neighbor... everybody play nice >:D<
Kee beach. Ok... ((I)) How many visits does it take to decide this is just one more rainy, bug infested trip filled with nothing to do for days on end???? :-? |
makai1,
Regarding your question for the quiz: For Kal or for the rest of us? :-d It's raining in northern California! That means the dreaded rainy day recess is in effect! ((R)) -bill |
Wow...guess it's true....first liar loses!!!!:-P
Mrs Kal got 2 right....she's just arm candy over there. :-D CaliNurse...you owe me a glass of wine! Faina and I will not tolerate no shows! [-X G'lou, Can you please drop by and clean the coffee outta my keyboard? Mary2, Maybe we can call it "Krabby Kal's Kauaiian Koffee Klatch of Kliqueish Kaustic Komedian's Klubhouse"? |
Kal, yes, will do. Sorry about other time--had good reason which I'll explain in person--not for broadcast here. As long as you promise not to again refer to me as "Dr. Josef Mengele's nurse." Doubt Faina would find that funny either. I liked your answer on the "You know you've been on Fodors too long when..." thread. So true, thank heaven. Ah, the ups and dwons and ups of social intercourse.
Still no answers to the question about chickens at letter K place? C'mon, Kauai people! It's seriously so bad that I was warned by locals to expect NO sleep at all there. Gyppielou...I hesitated to post anything in fear of rustling some feathers, then thought, "How ridiculous is that?!" P.S. Know what a Kode Brown is? |
Down gyppielou...down girl!!
|
This keeps getting funnier and funnier! Gee, I know why I did not answer Cali's question. I actually never read it. -Bill |
How did I get into this post? I hardly ever read Hawaii posts and normally don't post as I've never been to Hawaii. Even Kal knows it!
And why is it The Nurse trying to put a wedge between me and my pal Kal? Now I have to read all his posts to see where is that Mengele reference... darn! My work will suffer :) |
Faina,
Think of all the fun you've been missing! -Bill |
I haven't find the Mendele line, probably got deleted, but I found this:
If you're in SF tomorrow, drop by Kuleto's Wine Bar around 4-5:00 pm and I'll buy you a drink...if Faina hasn't drained the bar by then calling it "migraine medicine". Now I know where I'm getting migraines from... FROM READING KAL'S POSTS! How many more days of migraines till Kal's off to manhandling those mules on Hawaii? |
FainaAgain, Kal mentioned you in this thread because he'd invited me for a drink when you, Mrs Kal, and he were meeting in SF a few weeks ago. I certainly did NOT mean to "put a wedge between" friends and apologize to you, and regret that it was taken this way. Rather, sometimes personal friends can explain things better than some faceless name on a screen. I hesitate to write on the US Board these days, for fear of what will be read into it, or that people will use it as an opportunity to jump all over what I've said. That is ridiculous.. .so I've not stopped posting.
Re: your research, the invite to Kuleto's and the reference to "Mengele's nurse" you can find on the "Humourless" post of a few weeks ago. |
Oh, by the way, Code Brown, if some people don't know, is a page code in hospitals when a patient is discharged and leaves a box of chocolates behind.
|
Doh, only 24((Y)), ((o)) for more <font color="blue">bible<font color="black">[-o<
Last time I listen to a Menehune :S-</font></font> |
Faina, LOL re: your migraines, and the positive spin on "Code Brown"!! I'll share that one at the hospital! If--WHEN--we meet at some Bay Area gtg, remind me to tell you the story of the patient and her offer of chocolates.
Reference to Dr. M's nurse was not deleted--it's in the same response you mentioned, but a few paragraphs above. |
Is Kaua`i like a ((G)) of chocolates:?
|
...and funnier...

Bill/IAMQ--What time does class get out where you teach? it's not even 3:00 pm yet.
