3 must visit places before you die!!
 

My wife and I got the book 1000 places to see before you die--way too many for our list. We started listing 3-5 places that we must see before we get"toooo olddd" What would your list look like?

As of today (& these are all places I have not been to yet) in no particular order - Iceland, Cuba & Nova Scotia. I also consider these reasonable, & doable.

Actually,Nova Scotia was on my list. I also had Ireland, and New England states in Leaf season--always wanted to see the leaves-haven't done it-but are going this year

There are so many places I haven't been, but of the ones I have...

California (drive along the coast)

2. San Francisco/Big Sur
3. Great Smoky Mtns./Blue Ridge Mtns.

The places that I want to see before I die:
1. Alaska
2. New York City
3. Bavaria Germany

the Aurora Borealis from somewhere waaaaay up north!

cmcfong--you listed "Norway's fjords",when I was a hippie several years ago, I took a trip to Stavanger,Norway for 2 week trip--stayed 8 weeks--that whole area is amazing and really did not want to come back after 8 weeks, but marriage was waiting for me.
