2 days in Rochester, Ny
 

We love wine, hikes, kayaking and good food. I went to RIT but did not do much when there. Any ideas for 2-3 days?

Are you bringing your own car and kayak? There is a nice place to launch a kayak on the NYS Barge Canal (formerly Erie canal) at Fairport or Pittston.

Visit the winery in Canandaigua. You can also launch the kayak in the lake of the same name.
Naples is famous for grape pies.
For a museum in Rochester, I like the George Eastman house.

Letchworth State Park is gorgeous and about 30 miles away ("Grand Canyon of the East")http://www.letchworthpark.com/
