18 and getting married!!!!
i am looing for the perfect wedding site. i would love to get some responses on sites around the world or in godd old USA.
thanks
sone to be Mrs. Blanch
Give us a clue...$$$$ .....what kind of finances you have to work with..?????
Caribbean always seems to be a popular wedding destination and resorts have special deals for weddings. (Won't even comment on the 18 yrs old and already getting married aspect).
More importantly, what do YOU think would make a perfect wedding site? Privacy? Lots of nightlife? Beaches? Mountains? Spirituality?

And how close does it need to be to a particular spot? If your family and friends will be attending, they will definitely appreciate a place close to where they are. Of course, maybe you want a place as far from them as possible! Again, we need to know!

We can't tell you where to find what you're looking for until YOU tell us what YOU want for your wedding site?

Also, what time of the year is your wedding? A lot of people find Vegas a place to get married (not that I'm recommending it, but whatever floats your boat); but it is dreadfully hot in the summer. So give us the information we need, so you can get advice that will be useful for YOU.

Does anyone else sense that this might not be a real post? Or, am I getting suspicious?
Ms. Brianne, what exactly would be the reason for you to marry at age 18? Are you fresh from the Phillipines, or is there a baby on board? Wait until you're old enough to go in a bar before you get married. For now, go to Disney or Marriotts-if you're tall enough to ride...
No, frank, I'm with you. Way too many clues implying duplicity.
Waste of time.
Three typos in the original post, plus the controversial subject, make me think it's a TROLL. If it's real, I respectfully suggest Ms. Brianne stay in school for a while longer.
Well at least the exclamation points are well placed...getting married at 18! I wouldn't worried about where...I'd worry about why?

Good luck to you wherever you decide to do it.
i did not know that getting married at 18 was such a big deal. sure i can't go to a bar but i will graduate with my bach. degree i one year and have a good job so i am pretty sure that i will be fine! thanks to those who took some intrest. we were thinking to have a spring wedding. as for where, that door is pretty wide open. my friends and family are sprinkled all over the globe so location is not a big deal. i would like some place that has history and is peaceful.
thanks
Brianne
i forgot to include that cost is not an option. and by the way what is a "troll"?
thanks
brianne
if you think having a bachelor's degree qualifies you for marriage, think again.

i hope for your sake you are not part of the standard statistics because at 18, all the odds are stacked against you.

i know you think you know yourself and him very well but believe me, at 18, you don't. That's what the 20's are for, to discover yourself enough to be able to make a decision like this.
If cost is "not an option", then I suppose you're not going anywhere are you?
Yeah, sure she's getting her bachelor's degree at 18....and I'm going to be the next Pope!
And, some of you are taking her serious!
Whether this is an actual question or not, it does make for an interesting query. So why not just take up the challenge (for intellectual stimulation if nothing else) and see if we can meet Brianne's requests?

Wants to get married in the spring, in a place with history and peacefulness. A problem with this is that most places with history are cities, which tend not to have peacefulness. The best compromise I could come up with is the Aegean area, where you could visit the sites of ancient Greece, and also visit the Aegean islands for some quiet. Spring will be well before the summer rush, and weather will be fairly nice (although rain CAN occur as late as April).

Rome has more history than just about any place on the globe, but it is NOT a very peaceful place!!
Careful, Paul, you're getting close to becoming a PA!
"Most places with history are cities...". I'm afraid I can't fully grasp that observation. There are countless ancient villages all over Europe (thinking IT, NL, UK, FR) and they have beautiful churches that would make for a serene wedding. In America's oldest section, New England, the history contained in its small towns cannot be overlooked either.

She said she'll be receiving her degree in one year, so she'll be 19. I've known 2 people who graduated from college when they were 19, but obviously Brianne is not one of them, based on her post.
Don't know why you don't think Brianne will be graduating at 19, definitely possible. I reeived my BA at 19 and my law degree J.D. at 22. I am the world's worst typist though (good thing I have a super secretary0 Anyway, brianne, you need to describe youra tastes more. Some places that spring to mind are the beach in Kuai, and old historic mansion in New Orleans, aboard at yaht or cruise ship, at a famous museum or landmark, or dozens of others. If you truly want an original "destination wedding" chek out www.whollymatrimony.com It is a website devoted solely to destination weddings and details. Personally I was not ready for marriage at 18, I waited till I had graduated law shool and had my own place for a year before tying the knot. I was mature early and knew I loved my boyfreind but wanted the experience of doing it on my own for a short while. To each his own and again age doesn't matter but you may want to learn some things about your self first.
Brianne and Angela-They must have lowered the bar when it comes to graduating people who can't even read and write a decent sentence! Something is terribly wrong with the education system in this country.....
