On the way home put your dirty laundry in the expandable duffel and check it. Put all you new purchases in your carry-on. Odd how the dirty laundry never gets lost.

Always keep water bottle with you if you are with your family and children.
Always try to use bags with wheels because they are easy to carry from one place to other.
Book a place to stay in advance.
Always carry mobile and camera charger with you.
Get proper information about visiting place before you go for travel of arrange a guide to enjoy your traveling in proper way.
Make photocopies of your passport and leave them with your friend or known person.
Manage your expenses according to your budget.
Always keep some snack or light foot with you.

This one is really laughable. I can image someone visiting and asking my mother where to eat. She'd direct you to the Happy Dragon for their great sweet and sour chicken balls. Why in the world would you expect some random local to know the best restaurants?

Put your name, destination)s), and contact info inside your checked bag, in case your luggage tag comes off.

Bring an extension cord, especially if you are sharing the bathroom, so you can dry your hair. Sometimes the bathroom has the only outlet.

Make sure kids have a hotel business card with them, and you do, too. Make a plan that if anyone gets lost, everyone will call the hotel to leave a message as to where you are. Assuming cell phones don't work.

Don't carry duplicate toiletries when traveling with spouse or family. Bring one set of shampoo, toothpaste, etc. (I don't share deodorant, toothbrush, or razors, of course.)

2. Money belt to be worn inside the pants
3. Multi pocket sleevless jacket with internal pockets for passports n money
4. Multi plug n spike buster

1. Always travel light. You will only need half of the things you will be carrying with you.
2. Even though the weather forecast says that it will be extremely hot and sunny, always take an umbrella or waterproof coats and shoes with you. Also, have a jacket on hand. You might catch a chili day or evening.
3. Keep most of your money on the card and pay with that card wherever possible.

My best trip was Delhi to Manali ........It was just awesome trip,,,,,,,,

I've had personal cards made up from an online site that you design yourself, very inexpensive. Mine have an antique compass design, with travel in mind. Name, email address and phone number only and I carry them to give to people I'd like to keep in touch with who I meet along the way. They're handy at home too, I always have a few in my wallet, but especially nice "on the road".
