Train reservations in Europe

Does anyone have a phone number in the United States for making reservations for trains in Europe with a Eurail pass?

You really want to re-post this on the Europe forum. Lots of info about EurRail on that board.

You need to contact the individual rail companies in each country and it can easily be done over the internet. Remember there can be, depending on the train, substantial fees for reservations and some limits on reservations for pass holders.

The great folks at Rick Steves will help with all your Europe related travel questions http://www.ricksteves.com/graffiti/helpline/
They are also an agency for rail tickets for travel in Europe.

Why would you need to call them? Most (if not all) rail companies in Europe are online and the "Eurail" passes are available online as well.

In general, you can google "(Nationality) Railroad" and it will come up with the official website. For example, the first result for "French railways" is SNCF.fr which is where you buy tickets within France.
