Anywhere in Punta Cana, Dominican Republic -- plus lots of beautiful palm trees. Paradise! (Puerto Plata's beaches don't compare)

Tulum, Mexico has gorgeous beaches (better than Playa del Carmen or Cancun)

Eleuthera, Bahamas. The white-pink beach was the softest I have ever felt. The water was beautiful clear and blue. No rocks where we were, no seaweed. This beach was not near a hotel. The owner of the hotel drove a bunch of us there and picked us up later.Sorry to say I cant remember the names of the hotel or the beach, its been awhile. Next choice would be Aruba. Wide, white, soft beaches, some with large rocks, some with none.We rented a car and drove the coast and checked them all out. Fun. Punta cana Dominican has brown sand and does not compare to either.

Forgot to mention that Puerto Plata, Dominican has coarse brown sand and the water is not blue, it has more of an emerald color. Wasnt impressed.

The north shore of Cancun. The eastern shore has waves that can get rough at times. Beautiful white powder beach, no seaweed nor any fish.

I have traveled far and wide and can say that the best beach for sand, surf and isolation exists in oahu hawaii. I lived there and it is located about 5 miles from honululu behind a nursing home. Park in front and go to the front counter and they will let you into the back which is a huge beach completly unused and isolated. Great boogie boarding. Second is an island of the coast of Belize that we rented for a few days called st. bart that included our own chef for 50 bucks a night. Third which is actually first but very tough to get to is the seychelles. Go there and you will be spoiled forever.period...
