Also Fodor's has more extensive pages, my main concern is reading the menu. We just came from Albuquerque, I've been reading the menus in English, couldn't understand some of them :(

Most everywhere we've gone has also had a menu in English. If you can't figure out what to order, just say "casado" and you'll end up with with a meat with veggies and sides like rice and beans or plantains. It's the most common thing you'll see, and they usually give you a choice of meat like beef, chicken, etc. Here's an example of a menu from a place we like.

If you're going to an area frequented by tourists, you probably won't have much problem.
