baldone, thank you, thank you, thank you! So much great info! And now I’m really, really excited about this trip!

And yes, we’re big fans of street food and the places you describe sound wonderful! Strolling, eating and some modest shopping (though silver jewelry is definitely something I will be looking at, ) sound perfect - and I’m intrigued by whatever the Candelaria experience will be.

P, I should elaborate on the silver in the artisans market. While it's 925, its mostly what I'd call 'souvenir grade', that is nothing too fancy, earrings, chains, bracelets, etc. If I wanted to buy an anniversary gift for my wife, (and I often have) I'd go to Linaje 925 at 23 Diez de Sollano a block from the jardin. Tino & Jazmín have beautiful pieces.

B, thank you! Not a problem - I’m not necessarily looking for high end quality but I’ll definitely check out Linaje 925 to see if there’s anything that my husband should buy for me😉
