llao llao from bariloche

We are staying at a hotel in Bariloche, want to play golf at Llao Llao. Don't plan to rent a car. How can we get from town to golf course?

There is bus service in the area. I would recommend renting a car because there is much to see within about 100 miles in any direction from Bariloche. Bariloche itself had little charm to me.

I totally agree with my esteemed colleague cmcfong.

And excuse me for wondering how come your hotel's staff cannot answer such a simple question.

Haven't yet met hotel staff -- we arrive in Bariloche in mid-March :)

Oh, I'm sorry, I took "we are staying" as the present, not the future.

Anyway, it is generally advised to rent a car and NOT to stay in the town of Bariloche.

If you still want to take the "colectivo", which has its charms, as far as local flavor is concerned, the trip takes about three quarters of an hour.

We were at Llao Llao for Christmas ...and did a one day rental at the hotel itself...an option.

We were at Llao Llao for lunch last week and it was very disappointing. In fact it was average food at best which surprised us. The golf course looks unexceptional but the setting is spectacular so I'm sure it's worth playing.

I agree with the other posters, stay outside Bariloche and rent a car. We had one for 2 weeks and found the driving easy.
